Kosovo Surgeon College, in partnership with Sanford Medical Center Fargo, North Dakota, North Dakota, United States, will first organize the course Trauma Life Spupport ® (𝐀𝐓𝐋𝐒®) Kosovo.
Course Kosovo is officially registered at Sanford Medical Center Fargo, North Dakota, USA, and offered by American College of Surgeons, North Dakota Committee on Trauma.
The Course instructor's team is international and comes mainly from the American College of Surgeons. In contrast, fair registration application for the ATLS course, there are doctors under SKKUK, (specialists & Specialists), who deal with the treatment of patients with politics (e.g. Surgery discipline, emergency medicine, anesthesiology.
The composition of the team that's going to offer this ATLS Course is like the following: Prof. Ass. Dr. Baton Kelmendi, local coordinator, Prof. Dr. Rifat Latifi, instructor Melissa Mysialek, coordinator of the Course, Ass. Ass. Prof. Dr. Mentor Ahmeti, director of the Courses and instructor Dr. Eney Gasevic, instructor, Prof. Dr. Agron Dodgen, instructor and Dr. Pantelis Vassiliou, instructor.
However, knowledge and skills learned in the ATLS course are easily adjusted in all care environments.
It should be noted that the American College of Surgeons ACS and its Committee on Trauma (COT) have developed the ATLS program for doctors, and this program offers systematic and Concious training for early care of trauma patients.
The ATLS programme offers participants a safe and reliable approach to immediate treatment of injured patients and the basic knowledge needed for:
Assessing the patient's condition with speed and accuracy
Reanimation and stabilisation of the patient according to priority.
Or the ability of an bidder.
) Organizing properly for the patient's inter-opual transfer (who, what, when and how)
Security to provide optimum care and to keep the level of care from getting worse at any point during the evaluation process, intensive care, or transfer.
Except that the Course ATLS offers participants a safe and reliable approach to the immediate treatment of injured patients, this Kurs also has its own objectives, where, after the end of the ATLS course, the doctor will be able to:
It demonstrates the patient's primary and secondary assessments of concepts and principles.
Put management priorities in a trauma situation.
I start the primary and secondary management necessary for emergency management of acute life - threatening conditions at the right time.
In a particular simulation, it demonstrates the skills often required during the initial assessment and treatment of patients with multiple injuries.
The course in question will be held in Pristina in 10/11 October 2023, meanwhile, planning has already been made to be the regular course, which will be held 1-2 times a year.
The Kosovo College of Surgeons, reports all concerned that the number of participants allowed for this course is 16, while the necessary criterion is English-language recognition, since the entire course will be offered in English.
