Arrested 20-year-old, fired a hand grenade and weapon, securing a disco in Gjilan

Police have announced that a 20-year-old man has been arrested who in the courtyard of a discotheque in Gjilan has shot security and dropped a hand grenade that has not exploded.

According to police, a vehicle that was parked was damaged by gun shooting, while no injured persons reported.

The police demining unit has eliminated the hand grenade without incident. In co-ordination with the Founding Prosecutor in Gjilan, police units during the raid on the home of the Kosovo suspect have found and seized: three hunting weapons, a gun and 16-th piece of cable-950mm, owned by the suspect parent, while a TT-type gun was also seized, allegedly used in case”, says the 24-hour police report.

On the other hand, it becomes known that the suspect, at the order of the prosecutor, was sent to the maintenance.
