African swine plague present in Kosovo, AUV shows measures taken to prevent the spread of this disease
We inform you that our municipality's territory has already been officially confirmed AFRIKAN's bridge. The Wild Testament Hunters' Association, together with the Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in Dragash, as well as relevant government institutions, is taking all necessary steps to eliminate this disease”, reportedly the municipality's announcement, published on the official Facebook page.

On the other hand, it is said that this disease is not transmitted to other animals, nor to man, but that caution should be maximum, “since we have not had such cases”.

On July 17th, the first case of its presence on a farm in the Klocott municipality has been confirmed.

There were 22 pigs on this farm, five of which died as a result of this disease.

Food and Veterinary Agency spokesman (AUV), Lamir Thaci, has said that the veterinarian teams have destroyed all animals on this farm as the first preventative measure. /Telegraph/
