Abraham: What does it mean for the prime minister to hear the municipalities' plight and act against them?

Kosovo Communist Association Executive Director Saban Ibrahimi has said that the extraordinary meeting will be held on August 22nd, where the Northern Mitrovica Community's demand to become a member of this association will be considered. He has further said he believes he has been meeting [...] since September.

He has further said he believes that since September they will have the Council of Mayors meeting, where we will discuss, debate the problems municipalities have.

While asked whether there could be an Association meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti before September, Ibrahimi has said such a meeting could be held even earlier, but according to him, there is no point in Prime Minister Kurti hearing the municipalities' troubles and acting against the demands of mayors of municipalities.

The first week, the second week because it's not a problem, we can mobilize and gather the council. But we want solutions, because for that reason I'm saying what it means to meet with the prime minister, he's willing to listen to the municipalities' problems and act against the demands of the mayors. Does it make any sense, honestly? The mayors are not interested in going out, going there for photos, or cameras, because they have much more important jobs, meeting with citizens, implementing projects and other”, Ibrahim is shown on the “Diary” show in Tv1.

Among the complaints the municipalities have, Abraham cited the issue of compensation for damage from the floods.
