The decisions pronounced in the courtroom do not always prove reasonable.
As a result, those convicted or imprisoned for no reason have access to compensation from the state.
For the first six months of this year, 61 people have benefited from being convicted or imprisoned without reason.
According to data from the Judiciary Council, the total value it has cost the state is 115 thousand and 467 euros.
This figure is not considered high by Anton Noecaj from the CLARD Institute.
Meanwhile, these figures, according to the lawyer, Fehmije Gashi Bytyqi, reflect state prosecutors' unwillingness.
Last year, the state budget cost more than 251 thousand euros in compensation to convicts or inmates for no reason.
