According to the MD's announcement sent by the Prosecutor, who has assured KOHA, it is claimed that since the beginning of the treatment of the 11-year-old case, Arbene Bajrami was presented as the case manager each time. However, on a visit by Minister Haxhiu to the quality of the national co-ordinator against domestic violence on 24 July in the 11-year-old shelter, the invitation for meeting as the case manager has gone to Valbona Makiki. According to the MD, this was reported by the director of the Centre for Social Work in Pristina, Webi Mujaku.
“During the meeting I have addressed my concern for this created situation, as well as have announced to the group that on the basis of the information, Arben Bajrami, there are no professional licenses”, it is said among other things in Hadzi's letter to the Prosecutor.
According to the letter, the Department of Social Services and Family Services under the MD has verified that Bajrami does not have professional licenses for social and family services and, subsequently, as written in Haxhiu's letter, should not be given the responsibility of the case manager on the part of the Centre for Social Affairs and the leader of the Social Services Unit in QPS.
The justice minister has demanded that the case be investigated, as <x0 actions that conflict with the law are not acceptable”.
For assistance in the investigation, the Prosecutor from institutions has been sent to reports that were accepted with the signing of Arbene Bajrami, as the case manager, the executive's email announcing that the manager is Valbona Makiqi and the email of confirmation that Arbene Bajrami has no professional licenses.
Last month the Kosovo Women's Network has reported that the victim has again been violated in the high-security shelter by a minor girl.
This network has accused the institution of failing and neglect, of what the Ministry of Internal Affairs has called for firing staff.
