Ymer: Rama's proposal is useful, Kurt cannot escape Association

Analyst and connoisseur of political developments in the country, Wisar Ymeri, has said the issue of Association cannot be avoided, nor can Prime Minister Albin Kurti, nor his successor. In a proposal for Periscope, Ymer said the main problem of the Association theme is that only one proposal exists so far, and he is the manager's team, which has been accepted by the mediator.
No prime minister Kurti or Kosovo's next prime minister, as the former could not. The main problem is that in terms of the Association negotiation, we have one document today that's on the table, accepted by the mediator. That document was prepared by the manager team”, he stressed.
Speaking of Kosovo's lack of a proposal for the Association statute, Ymer said it is damaging Kosovo.
“I think it is extremely harmful for Kosovo if we do not have a proposal that is in line with Kosovo's constitutional order”, he added.
The former leader of the Vetevendosje Movement also spoke of the draft amendment proposal proposed by Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, for whom this has said has been an extremely useful step because it has been drafted by experts and as such may have greater importance than the first one, as the same has been sent to Paris and Berlin.
“Prime Minister Edi Rama's intervention has been extremely helpful if clearly understood, because, however, he brought a document written by experts and which would be the second document on the table, equivalent to the first one or perhaps even more powerful than that one, because, as Rama has said, this document was handed over to Germany of France”, Ymer told Periscope.
