Yeah. LITICO Remembering Kosovo: The US is vital to security, just ask Ukraine

The prestigious American newspaper “Yeah. LITICO” through an article authored Matthew Carnischnig has written about the military power of the United States and the need to have the Allied White House. Early in this text, “Yeah. LITICO” points out that in the Kosovo capital in Pristina, there is no September of former France President Jacques Chirac [...]
At the start of this text, “Yeah. LITICO” stresses that there is no September in Kosovo's capital in Pristina of former France President Jacques Chirac or any square by the name of former German president Gerhard Schroeder and no street named after Spain's Javier Solana.
But, the author writes that you can find Septembers by Bill Clinton and Madeleine Albright and other American leaders who have led the 1999 NATO bombing campaign to prevent the massacres of Serb forces on Kosovo's Albanian population.
“Yeah. LITICO” further writes that despite the fact that many NATO nations contributed to the bombing operation, Kosovars have illusions about who really saved them from genocide.
Here they recall former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's words said in 2019 in marking the anniversary of NATO's intervention
“Thanks to the US we have freedom and democracy and were able to build the state of Kosovo”, is Haradinaj's quote from “Yeah. LITICO”
The prestigious American newspaper says that very few things have changed since the bombing campaign took place some 25 years ago. Even “Yeah. LITICO” points out that if nothing, Europe is even more dependent on the US security aspect than it was then.
“Only ask Ukraine”, the article says.
Author of this article in “Yeah. LITICO” says that as long as Germany last year feared they would be targeted by Russia if they were to sell Russian war vehicles from the 1970s, the US was only sending heavy weapons to Ukraine, the Express broadcast.
“Since the launch of Russia's invasion in Ukraine last year, the US has sent more than 43 billion euros to total military aid, to substance than all European countries combined together”, says the report until data from the German Institute of “Kiel” for the World Economics, whose data covers January 24th 2022, February 24th 2023.
“Yeah. LITICO” further mentions France's contribution to Ukraine. This writing says that France's President Emmanuel Macron has long imagined the strategic “authonomia” European, as totally contributing 447m euros, even though France has promised additional weapons from February.
“Yeah. LITICO” points out that the Czech Republic, a country much smaller than France, has offered military assistance to Ukraine worth 566m euros.
“Yeah. The following LITCO” says that the outcome for all of this is that without US assistance, the Russian flag would wave from Kherson to Lviv until now, and that Russian troops would stand guard at the EU border from Baltic to the Black Sea.
The American newspaper even says it was exactly fear of a scenario such as convincing the German Chancellor that only days after the invasion he committed himself to spending 100 billion euros re-arming Germany as part of what Scholz has called “Zeitendendendendendendende” or a turning point.
In this “entry Yeah. LITCO” says that the budget Germany invests in the military remains below NATO's goals. Germany spends 1.6 percent of GDP, while the U.S. spends 3.3 %.
“Yeah. LITCO” writes on Germany's warning to bring investment into the military of 2% of GDP, and stress that even despite the acceleration of recent months to help Ukraine militarily, it still lags behind the US by a large margin.
In Europe, Germany is in second place after Great Britain, which according to estimates has amounted to 4.2 billion.
“Yeah. LITICO” further writes that despite Scholz's decision to call what he called the next year “the turning “, the money spoken is still spent, and European arms producers have said they will engage in factory opening until they sign long-term contracts with governments.
So why isn't nobody in Berlin really that worried?”, is the question posed by the author of the “text. Yeah. LITICO.
Because, according to the author of the text, like Kosovars, the Germans believe they can count on America despite the shaking caused by Donald Trump's presidency.
European countries rely on the U.S. for everything from protection under its nuclear umbrella and the presence of its troops on the continent to purchase fighter aircraft and bullets”, the text points out.
“Yeah. LITCO” writes that Poland, which plans to spend 4% of GDP for the army, is buying tanks, fighter aircraft and missile systems from the US, as it does not intend to go alone when facing Russia.
“Aleance with the United States is the absolute foundation of our security”, is the quote of Polish Prime Minister Matthewsz Morawiecki recalling “Yeah. LITICO”
At the end of this article, “Yeah. LITCO” writes that despite the great statements of European leaders on their own, European countries still spend more than half their military budgets to buy equipment from the United States, this is mentioned in the Netherlands, which spends 95 %.
This “situation Yeah. LITICO” says there is little evidence that can change despite the request of Macro for countries to spend their euros in Europe.
“Yeah. LITICO” says this means that the US is a necessary ally and the article concludes with the quote of former Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova: “God bless America and our Western friends”.
