Wagner is reportedly bound to enter Lipetsk province

The Guardian reports that Wagner mercenaries have managed to enter Lipetsk province. So said the mayor of this province, reports the Associated Press.

Russian authorities in the area had earlier asked residents to stay in the homes after the Wagner group threatened to overthrow Russia's military leadership.

According to The Guardian, Wagner has taken control of Rostow's city after an overnight action.

Reuters also reported trucks transporting soldiers across the town of Voronnes, and a helicopter that has shot them. Wagner, however, has said he has encountered considerable resistance until they have moved along the highway.
