Vetevendosje MP explains Kurti's offer: No immediate blanco elections

Vetevendosje MP Arber Rexaj has commented on Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's telephone conversation with US National Security Deputy President Jonathan Finer, where the new elections in the four northern municipalities were mentioned. Rexhaj, speaking on the DPS show at Fidan Yupoli, said it's not about [...]
Rexhaj, speaking on the DPT show at Fidan Yupoli, has said it is not about snap elections and blanko, but according to him there will be a legal process and a process of de-crime by gangs in the north first.
Rexhaj has said there will no longer be US sanctions on Kosovo.
This is a space and a time. It's not a blanco, direct, immediate choice. It's a process. I believe the prime minister through his office wanted to tell him two things: that relations with the US are not what they look like outside, there will be no new sanctions for the Republic of Kosovo”, Rexaj said in the show.
According to Rexhaj, Kurti has also demanded that prior to the elections, the north be de-condemned by gangs that have demonstrated violence against KFOR, the Kosovo Police and journalists.
“He meant that the new elections in northern Kosovo cannot be held in a blanko manner, as I hear opposition analysts, as a political blanco agreement. Until the elections, there is a process -- de-crime of criminal gangs -- of those 72 brigades that attacked both KFOR and with firearms” -- he has declared.
According to him, through this call it has proved that the VV has not violated Kosovo's relations with the US, as it has been charged in recent days.
“The prime minister's message is that he denies those rumours the VV has broken relations with the US. ”
