The Down and the Upper Abria are made with new power grids

More than 500 residents, or about 150 residents of the villages of Aber and Downer, already have new electricity grids, thanks to the KED investment plan for these two villages.

This project includes the medium- and low-tensive electricity network. About 200 new concrete pillars, 3 new transformers and other energy assets have changed the view of Drenica's two villages.

Violeta Jasanica-Selim, engineer at KEDS and supervisor of this project, says residents of these villages have already been locked into the new electrical network and will soon become old pillars removed.

“Through this investment, except that we have installed a new power grid for our consumers, providing them with a high quality electricity supply, we have eliminated the possible risks coming from the oldco-x1> network, she says.

Residents of these villages express happiness that thanks to this KED investment, they have new power grids.

Pajazi Smakqi, a professional electrician, and a village resident of Aber and Potttme talk about the difficulties that fellow villagers had before this new network was installed.

We had no more than 170 volts before the tension. We've used each of us to correct the current. Now, with the installation of the new electrical network, everything works properly”, Pajaziti says, thanking KEDS for this appropriate investment.

Even Krekinaj Gevdet, a resident of this village, thanks KEDS for installing their new electricity network, indicating that there was trouble, among other things, with an old transformer.

“We've had an old transformer, power poles and old and damaged electrical transfers. Thanks to this KED investment, we already have a new electricity network and security”, he says.

Under this investment plan, KEDS is at the conclusion of several other projects in the Drenica area, both in the villages of Rezalla and Likovc.
