According to police spokesman for the Mitrovica region, Veton Elshani, a fellow bomb has erupted on northern streets.
However, he added, there is neither harm nor material harm from this incident.
Tensions in the north have started since May 26th, when local Serbs attacking journalists, KFOR, EULEX and the Kosovo Police have opposed elected mayors in this part of the country.
Last week, three police officials have been kidnapped by Serbian forces. Kosovo, along with the United States and the EU, has demanded that they be released immediately and unconditionally.
Recently, border points in Brnjak, Jarinje and Merdara have been blocked due to protests in Serbia.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs finds other points to be off-limits and no columns
