Tahiri for Periscope: Now it's time for Kurt to explain tensions in the north and the Association

According to Tahiri now is not the time for comments, since Prime Minister Kurti has not cleared up enough for the situation in the north.

Differently, yesterday and today the European Union's special envoy for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, and US Special Envoy for the Balkans Gabriel Escobar, who have held meetings with Prime Minister Kurti and President Osmani, as well as with the opposition.
The meeting between Kurt and the two emissaries, who were held in Monday's evening hours, has produced three requests to the Government of Kosovo for the current political and security situation in the country.
Lajcak and Escobar's first request is to escalate the situation north of the country immediately.
In second place, demand for holding early elections in the north has been listed, and local Serbs' participation in these elections
Meanwhile, the latest requirement is for the parties to return to dialogue on normalising relations.
Protests which came as a result of the April 23rd elections against Albanian mayors of Serb majority municipalities have continued even today, but the situation has been calmer compared to the past days. /Albina Zariqi- P ERSICOPI
