Interior Minister Jelal Svecla has congratulated all citizens of Islamic faith in Kosovo on the occasion of the Kurban Bajrami holiday.

More specifically, he wished police and journalists on duty.

Dear Kosovo citizens of Muslim faith, I congratulate you Kurban Bajrami. Be joyful today with family members and relatives. Health, luck and happiness I wish to bring you this Bajram, all of you, but also our entire society and state.

I want to single out Kosovo police officers, especially those who are in service. The work of institutions of order enables our citizens, regardless of religion or ethnicity, to live, work and celebrate peacefully”, it has written.

I also welcome journalists, especially those in field service. It has recently been proven that objective reporting by field journalists helps manage public calm and law enforcement”
