Serbian political analyst Dragomir Andjelkovic said today that the release of three Kosovo police officers represents another chapter of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq before international factors.
Anjelkovic told Serbian news agency Beta that there is no doubt that the decision to free three Kosovo police officers from custody is political.
Serbia's “Judge is under full control of the government and as much as the judiciary under government control, just as our power is under the control of some external factors. As soon as someone from the world lifts up his voice, Vuchy hastens to lower his head and do whatever he is asked to do. The release of three Kosovo police officers represents another chapter of President Vuciq, at the expense of Serbia and Serbs in Kosovo”, Angjelkov said.
Andjelkovic compared Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's mediation to the release of Kosovo police officers to the role of Victor Chernomyrdin (former Russian president's envoy) in what he said was Slobodan Milosevic's capitulation in 1999.
“Vuciq has his Chernomirdin, Orbanin, which is a kind of mediator in order for Serbia's president to retain his honour for internal use, even though it is a clean luminism. Vuciqi would be better off if she did not arrest the wrong Kosovo police officers and say she would not go to Brussels for negotiations with Albin Kurti (Kosovo Prime Minister) and international mediator”, the Serbian analyst estimates.
