Rohde: Police case another escalation, we need behavior from the citizens on both sides

What I think is we need escalation of the situation. Deceleration means talking to the other side. Don't get arrested, don't get into a media fight with each other, be clear, be transparent, but for now we see both sides are doing the opposite. For me, too, it is unacceptable that the Serb side speaks of terrorist acts, when three police officers enter the other side of the border by accident or not. Still, you have to prove the facts. And I don't have the facts. I only have the racing narravities of the” parties, German Ambassador to Kosovo Jorn Rohde has said.
Rohde has qualified it as another escalation between Kosovo and Serbia, the case of three Kosovo police officers who, according to the Government, have been kidnapped Wednesday by Serbia's special units in the north. He, in an interview for the “Interactive” KTV show, has stressed that currently no further escalations are needed, but a manstate conduct by both sides.
Rohde has indicated that in the case, evidence is expected from international security providers in Kosovo KFOR and EULEX, with whom he has said they are keeping in touch. He, meanwhile, has expressed concern about the security situation in the country.

And as a way to escalate the situation, the German ambassador has cited three requirements addressed by the European Union's high representative for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell, addressed on behalf of 27 member states. The EU has demanded that the removal of mayors from municipal facilities in the north take place and that they exercise their positions in alternative objects; holding new elections in four northern municipalities; and removing police units from municipal facilities in Leposaviq, Zubin-Potk and Zvecan.
