Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama during the press conference with his Hungarian counterpart, Viktor Orban, has been asked about the efforts being made to free the three Kosovo effigies abducted by Serbian forces. Rama said KFOR-I would not come up with public conclusions regarding their kidnapping, but would hand over the file to NATO.
The prime minister added that every communication bridge is being used for their release.
The resolution of the tense situation between Kosovo and Serbia, Rama said it was offered by the Euro-Atlantic community. Rama added the agreement offered at the table by internationals is a possibility that in the future may not happen again. According to him, it will ensure recognition of both Kosovo and Serbia.
Most important of our interest is that peace is at the table. The agreement's document is in theirs, and the historic opportunity is in place to close a long and painful chapter and make Kosovo an internationally recognised country of all who know it and from Serbia.
The focus is on becoming the final peace in the theirs. The EU and US-backed proposal is the best thing that can happen to Kosovo. This agreement and the golden opportunity that is there is not meant to be there forever”, Rama said.
