Rama: Kurt and Osman didn't ask to consult me

Prime Minister Edi Rama has declared that Kurti Government has not developed any communication with the Albanian government for the situation created in northern Kosovo.

In a connection to the “Opion” show, Rama said that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti had no requests for situation-related consultation.

I've met Kurt and Osman, but we haven't had discussions on this issue since it's those who decide whether to discuss it or not. I didn't get and I see what's going on, it's not that they're hiding and they're clear on what they say. We have had no communication, as it is an issue that is the responsibility of Kosovo's prime minister and, to some extent, the Kosovo Presidency, are those who decide whether they want to talk about the matter or not. I'm not the one telling them hours. You're just saying in your own way what I said in my own way. Kosovo has consulted when it wished and has not now sought to discuss this with me and is in its right because it is a separate state. We're not even indifferent. There was no question that they didn't ask for it, and it's not me who should send you this discussion. There are those who are in charge of a democratic state and I am not the father of Kosovo. It is their right not to consult and it is their right to let us know even through the media, Rama said.
