Rama: It is incomprehensible for allies that Kosovo refuses to take a single step

Prime Minister Edi Rama has come out satisfied for Albania by meetings he had with European leadership, but concerned about Kosovo. He says it has been found to damage its reports with the European Union. Rama has written that for the internationals, who are strategic allies, it is incomprehensible that Kosovo refuses to take a small step towards reducing the situation in the north.

The Albanian prime minister says that the <x0mede” that is creating the approach Kosovo is creating in relation to its allies is benefiting Serbia.

Belgrade is thus managing to hide behind the increasingly dense mist, which Pristina's inexplicable strategic approach is creating between Kosovo and the Euro-Atlantic community, especially after Serbia's unconditional release of the three police officers held unjustly, for days, in terms of the removal of freedom”, Rama's response, published on Twitter, is said.

Rama's full delivery:

Meetings with the European Union's highest authorities were very good news regarding Albania's progress in negotiations with the European Union and our constructive regional policy. But unfortunately at these meetings, it was extremely distressing to keep the Republic of Kosovo's relations reform with the Euro-Atlantic community. The US-backed EU has put on the table of dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, the best possible normalisation plan, which finally reflects the Western Balkans, paving the way for even full international recognition of Kosovo!

It is incomprehensible for our strategic allies, which Kosovo continues to refuse to take even a single concrete and constructive step towards de-exceting the increasingly dangerous situation in the north of the Republic of Kosovo. Belgrade is thus managing to hide behind the increasingly dense mist, which Pristina's inexplicable strategic approach is creating between Kosovo and the Euro-Atlantic community, especially after the unconditional release from Serbia of the three police officers held fairly, for days, in terms of lifting freedom.

It is time for a higher-level conference called by France and Germany, with the support of the European Union and the United States, where both sides will not be raised from the table of dialogue until the signing of a full normalisation agreement, including, of course, agreement on the Association of Serb Majorities within the constitutional framework of the Republic of Kosovo.

Albania has been, and will remain firmly a force that promotes peace, protects stability in the region, contributes to regional co-operation and works hard for its comprehensive growth, never falling into the Balkan trap of the past, but in no case silent in the face of threatening displays of sovereign self-sufficientness -- by anyone, anything and otherwise -- in our small neighbourhood in the middle of Europe.
