Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama said Kosovo is facing a major threat because of Prime Minister Albin Kurti's approach.
At an extraordinary news conference for the media, Rama declined to comment on whether there is information or not about Kurti's possibility of announcing the grant from the US, but said Kosovo's fate is at stake.
I don't even get into these. And they don't have any particular significance whether they're real or not unless they're public statements, but there's documents that circulate, unconfirmed and unassembled. But it is not Albin Kurti's fate today at stake, it is the fate of the Republic of Kosovo as a whole of”, Rama said.
And I naturally want only the success of Albin Kurti, the Government of Kosovo, the Republic of Kosovo and nothing else, but I can no longer keep looking at the conditions where what I see should be shared with all because it is a huge threat that does not come to Kosovo from Serbia, but comes from reducing relations with allies to a level where Kosovo is truly lost. That is my concern”, the Albanian prime minister added.
