(3 years ago)Serbs today have gathered in front of the municipal buildings in Leposaviq, Zvecan and Zubin Potok to protest the presence of the Kosovo Police and Albanian mayors of these municipalities. The Kosovo Police cars, which days ago changed location and moved behind municipal facilities, have not moved and are staying there.
KFOR soldiers, though very small, continue to stand around municipal buildings.
They even in Leposavich have completely removed the thorn wire, just like in Zvecan.
Significantly, a series of cultural and sports events on the part of protesters have been featured during weekends.
A number of young stewards stayed overnight in Zvecan, near the municipality building.
The overall security situation in these municipalities continues to be calm. /kp
