Professor Blerim Rexha has said he will initiate lawsuits against the Ministry of Education because, according to him, this minister unjustly did not list the first for the “award. The scientist of the Year”
Rexha told Periscop that under normal circumstances this should not happen between the professor and the Ministry of Education.
I've already got access to relevant public documents, and I've got no verbal process where it's clearly written and I'm the first recommended candidate for award-giving “The scientist of the year” Then there has been a silence about 3-4 months, and at the beginning of June, the ministry has made a decision since the three proposed candidates and the competition that 3 scientists and 3 young scientists have been asked to choose only one -- the second candidate proposed on the list by the ministry's scientific council. Then I wrote an email to the minister I said it wasn't right how you acted. I didn't have an answer”, Rex said.
He has said that for this, he has written down to other members of the council, made an official letter to the ministry, but that he has not received answers.
I have a lawsuit that I handed over today. The indictment is summed up in consultation with my lawyer, an extraordinary expert in the field of justice. Built on 7 pages and over six evidence I have attached to my indictment. I think there's only enough simple reading here and now to be approved as my request to add another 2 names to the list that have been the competition and recommendation of the ministry's scientific council”, he said.
He added that “This extremely dimming action, eventually, even after a few months of judicial process and price-taking, and this shows neglect, the ministry's unwillingness to support science in general in Kosovo”. /Periscopi/
