Otherwise, the head of the Municipal Assembly from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Fehmi Cupina, has announced he has resigned from this party, declaring himself independent leader.
I am an independent member of the capital and will not belong to any political party or group. My mandate as the head of the Parliament and as an independent member will be exercised in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kosovo, and I will be loyal to each of Pristina's voters and citizens, Kupina had said.
