Prime Minister Kurti has not yet visited new mayors in the north

Even after a week when the new mayors of northern municipalities gave their oath and tried with a recommendation from Prime Minister Albin Kurti to go to municipal facilities accompanied by Kosovo Police Special Units, the country's own prime minister has not yet gone to visit elected mayors and wish them [...]

Prime Minister Kurti has even called on the American ambassador to go north and visit the new mayors, but personally he has not yet been to any of the official municipal buildings in the north.

At last parliamentary session, chairman of PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has invited Prime Minister Kurti to go north.

The opposition leader has said it is unfair to risk the life of mayors if Kurt is not ready to do it himself.

Deputy Prime Minister, let's go to the north. Lei, don't get attached to Izmir, Ilir, Lulzim and Erden. Come on, let's go north. Prime Minister, you're in charge of people. Why were they barely putting their lives there. Come on, let's risk it first, and I'll be next to you. Chu this afternoon, at night, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, when you want”, Krasniqi said at the Assembly session, which he put in his Facebook post.
