Kosovo Border Police Fast Intervention Unit has prevented two cases of illegal passage of state border and smuggling with goods

Below is the clarification by Kosovo Police for the two cases of smuggling prevention.
Case one:
Today, dated 04.06.2023, at 7:30 in the village of Kostunica, K.K. Leposaviq, Kosovo Police, specifically, the unit for Fast Intervention (NJNSH) has banned the white-coloured Golf type vehicle, which above had the firm TAXI set up.
The vehicle, led by the male suspect (1962), was suspected of moving from Serbia's territory to enter the territory of the Republic of Kosovo using the route, which is not authorised for border crossings.
Four (4) packs of pork and sheep have been found in the trunk under the back seat and under the passenger seat.
The State Prosecutor, who has ordered that the case for “of mall smuggling” be initiated in regular procedure, and that unauthorized “pass of border crossings or borderline checkpoints” as the vehicle and goods are confiscated and sent to the customs terminal for further legal procedures.
Case two:
About 10:25 today in the village of Kostunica K.K. Leposaviq, the Mercedes-collar, grey-type vehicle run by the male suspect (1977), which allegedly took advantage of the route, which is not authorised for border crossings and had entered from Serbia's territory on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
During the search of the vehicle in the trunk, in the back seats and in other seats, 150) packages of chocolate-Snickers have been found.
The State Prosecutor has been contacted in connection with the case, which has ordered cases to be initiated in regular procedure for “smuggling with goods” and “Unauthorized crossing of border crossings or border line”. Automedia and goods have been seized and sent to the customs terminal for further legal procedures.
