But those salaries are not even calculated for job risks for police.
For three months now, police members are waiting to have their additions to job risk.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Finance Ministry months ago had said that the extensions of the month of February would be paid retroactively in March's salary.
Former Police Director Rashit Qalaj does not execute additions for police are finding wrong.
Qalaj told Front Online that Kurti's approach to police is unfair.
He said that, in addition to their risk, this institution needed the addition mostly.
Very wrong and unfair this approach of the Government towards the police. If any institution needs payment for risk surpluses, it is undoubtedly the police institution, and it is pointless to delay and the government's action in this regard. Kosovo police should have all sorts of extensions and payments for night change and nights, but the most necessary are the additions to employment at risk, considering that it is the most dangerous profession in this country”, said Qalajper Front Online.
Former Police Director, simultaneously deputy The PDK, Rashit, the government's statements are being described as lies.
Qalaj says how fast risk extensions for this category should be executed.
The government is promising a lot of things in this society, but they're all lying, as it seems, the additions to danger for police is the same situation only empty promises and nothing else. It's necessary, and it takes as soon as the police get the additions they haven't been able to make since the month”, says Qalaj.
Days ago, the police Union's Imer Zeqiri spoke of Front Online.
He said they are awaiting a meeting with the executive.
Zeqiri said that after the June pay release if the additions fail to appear, they will decide on union steps.
On the other hand, he said the government is finding excuses for not-excusing additions to risklessness.
We don't have any news about whether they are executed. We'll also have a meeting with Government when the salaries are executed to be announced whether the additions have emerged or not and we'll decide for initial steps depending on the demands of the police like this, we'll only wait until the end of the month. They're just arguing about these additions that they have the opportunity to do the math tools to put the additions in or have other trouble I don't know”, Zeqiri said.
While today, Kosovo Police General Director Gazmend Hoxha has said that police have not been paid a cent in the last three months for risk at work.
“The risk has not been paid in the last three months, we are in talks with the Interior Ministry this month we expect to be paid”, Hoxha said at the Commission for Security.
The law on wages has entered into force on 5 February and has been defined as the cofficiency of 105 euros for 2023. While on April 7th, the same law was submitted to the Constitution by the ombudsman with a request for assessing the law's compliance with the Constitution.
