New police details: Three people were arrested today on suspicion of matchmaking

In a report by Kosovo police, three people allegedly involved in match-fixing have been arrested today.

The arrests have been carried out at various locations, while two of those arrested reportedly are, basketball reference Daut Mehmeti and coach Arbnor Rifati.

Kosovo Police, in this case the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes, have conducted two separate operations, in three regions such as Pristina, Prizren and Pec. Police operations so far have resulted in the escorting of three suspected persons. All further actions will be undertaken in co-operation and co-ordination with justice organs. After the operation is completed, additional” information will be disclosed, the Kosovo Police's announcement today said.
