He identified those arrested with initials R.Z., B.S. and M.S.
“They were arrested at 12:38 in the depth of central Serbia's territory in the village of Gnjillica near Raska”, Petkovic said during a news conference in Belgrade.
Kosovo police said earlier that three of its police officials were allegedly kidnapped by Serb troops “buried inside Kosovo's territory”, near the borderline in the Leposaviqi municipality.
I would like to stress that members of our police have not stepped on Kosovo territory and violated either Resolution 1244 [Un Nations Security Council] or the military-technical agreement [the Kumanovo Agreement] because they have not crossed the administrative line. Those who have violated these international agreements are exactly members of the Kosovo Police”, Petkovic said.
According to him, Serbia is willing to offer all evidence and requested the opening of an international investigation, if necessary.
