President Vjosa Osmani has travelled to Turkey to attend the inauguration ceremony of Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdogan.
According to the Presidency's announcement, Osman will also be accompanied by the First Lord, don Sadriu.
At President Erdoğan's inauguration ceremony, President Osmani, accompanied by the First Lord Pridon Sadriu, will be alongside other heads of state from around the world.
President Osmani days ago has congratulated President Erdoğan on behalf of the people of the Republic of Kosovo for victory and has demonstrated readiness to continue the joint effort to deepen co-operation and strengthen partnerships between the two states”, the announcement said.
Recep Tayip Erdogan won the runoff elections, which took place 28 May. Erdogan, who has led Turkey as prime minister or president for 20 years, won despite the ongoing economic crisis in the country and criticism of his government's poor response to an earthquake in February, which killed more than 50,000 people.
