President Vjosa Osmani, under the second European Political Community Summit (EPC) in Chisinau, Moldova, has held a meeting with French Republic President Emmanuel Macron, German Federal Republic Chancellor Olaf Scholz and EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Josep Borrell.
The meeting has discussed recent political and security developments in Kosovo and the region. President Osmani has reaffirmed that Kosovo is committed to continuing co-ordination with international partners for the processes the country is going through.
The president has suggested that Kosovo's efforts to establish order and law in the country's north are challenged by Serbian illegal structures supported by Vuciqi and transformed into criminal gangs that have attacked the Kosovo Police, KFOR, as they continue with attacks on journalists and citizens.
On the other hand, President Osmani has said such actions are aimed at destabilising Kosovo and the region, stressing that a unique stance on the part of EU states is needed against trends that endanger peace and stability in the region.
At a meeting with President Macron and Chancellor Scholz, President Osmani has reconfirmed Kosovo's principled position to implement the agreements reached in Brussels and Ohrid in their entirety.
President Osmani has also met in Moldova President of Ukraine Voldymyr Zelensky, who has expressed Kosovo's full solidarity.
Osmani has participated in the second European Political Community Summit (EPC) in Moldova.
