Opposition: Disturbing the situation in northern Kosovo seeks not to spoil reports with US

Disturbing and damaging to Kosovo are considering the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo, imposing sanctions by the United States. According to them, Prime Minister Kurti is demanding that he disrupt the years-made reports of the United States. The PDK says that for 20 years [...]

There have been no more statements against Kosovo for 20 years since the war. While LDK blames Prime Minister Kurti for seeking to overturn reports with the US.

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ferat Shala says of Online Economy, that the situation in Kosovo is disturbing, when the situation in the north is considered.

He has called for unifying the political spectrum, especially those of the International Community.

The situation is disturbing when you see so many proposals against as never before in the last 20 years, and I say it must really be disturbing for all the political and economic and intellectual levels of the country. We have other voices we need to unify the internal political spectrum and simultaneously unify the political spectrum in relation to international partners. Other Alternative Kosovo cannot have”, Shala says, as it addresses criticism for nontransparentness in foreign policy.

As he was asked about Kosovo's situation in the international arena, Shala sees him as being hurt.

It also counts the failures of Kosovo diplomacy.

It's too hurt, it's so hurt. We've also been having shortcomings especially in the past two years due to domestic political and non-professional excesses in the management of foreign policies with lobbi, by clarification and other steps in establishing diplomacy. We've raised our concerns many times that we need additional capabilities in diplomacy and the international arena. We need additional mobilization, but you know there has been a distransparent since the phase of all these accord renegotiations, whether in energy or with license plates and the departure from the institutions of the entire Serbian community”, Shala said.

While the Democratic League of Kosovo deputy, Rzazarta Krasniqi, says Kosovo has marked the regras in foreign policy for the past two years.

I have since this government came, I have always said there is a decline in foreign policy, because now two and a half years, we have not seen that there has been progress in foreign policy. We have seen a dialogue that had no transparency at all, a prime minister who received a 51 per cent power with other principles, and when it came to power he violated them all, while he never agreed with the United States and the European Union”.

While the situation in the north, Krasniqi sees it disturbing. He says the head of government is trying to reverse all reports with the United States.

“The situation in the north in this situation has brought Prime Minister Kurti himself, disagreeing with the US and thinking that all the agreement that was made in Ohrid, we have waited as LDK to have reciprocal agreements for the two states to know each other, we have seen a basic agreement where Lajcak himself said that due to the situation in the north, there can be no final recognition of the basis to walk away, while we saw the statement of the American Ambassador for other sanctions and are waiting for the prime minister to come and report to Kuka. It is Prime Minister Kurti who is looking down on all the reports we've created and cultivated for years, because it's those who have helped us to make Kosovo a state”, Krasniqi said.
