Obadiah: The tragic event of the death of the mother and her child is a great loss for all of us

Obadiah says that the tragic event of the death of the mother and her child is a great loss for the family, the city of Peja, as well as for all of us.

“Therefore in my name and the Democratic League of Kosovo expressed condolences to all the families, while the other injured were quick and complete recovery. In difficult times like this one from natural disasters which and are incompatible we should be solidists and support each other”, he says.

“Peja Community Chairman Gazmend Muharzier along with other local organs are taking all necessary steps to help families affected in this difficult time. Solidarity and cooperation are essential at such times to help fellow citizens rise again after a tragic disaster.

As head of the LDK, I thank all local bodies, the KSF's search-safe units as well as all citizens for their commitment to overcoming this situation. And I also urge everyone to be careful and more to complete management of the situation.

I call on central institutions to mobilise all state mechanisms to help citizens affected by the floods. Our institutions should be co-ordinated with all local bodies to respond to the needs of our families in the face of this” situation, Abdixhiku has declared.
