Former Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa on Monday in a link to “Tirana Live” has commented on the latest situation occurring in northern Kosovo.
Mustafa in his address has indicated that it is unfortunate that the situation is in this situation, where such a thing has given more points to Serbia in the international arena.
He has also stressed that in terms of association, Serbs have already gained more advantages, where he emphasises and the fact that Kurti himself had accepted this agreement.
“Association has become an issue that has been accepted by Kurti and the government both in the Ohrid Agreement and earlier in Brussels, Kurti has given his approval for the Ohrid Agreement he has accepted and with such a situation there will be no obstacle to forming association. The exasperated situation leads Serbs in the north and internationals to ask for more from Kosovo. So I'm not looking at an association that was discussed before, but with greater competence for Serbs”, he said.
Among other things, he has indicated that after the incident, 30 KFOR soldiers were hurt by KFOR Serbs would be more careful in their behaviour, and why, according to him, such a thing happened by Serbian gangs and not by citizens living in northern Kosovo.
“Serbs in northern Kosovo are very cautious about KFOR compared to a situation that occurred a week ago, and it is good they have already assessed this situation differently and made a strong note to Kurt yesterday by NATO representatives in Kosovo. This is the first time to give a remark to a senior official in Kosovo, as it happened that 30 KFOR soldiers were injured by gangs, I am telling the gang because many are said to be not our citizens”, it has been expressed among other things.
