Murati: Developments in the north are part of a Kurti-Vucciq political game

Valon Murati from the Movement for the Union has said all developments in the country's north are part of a political game between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. On the Rubikon show in Klan Kosova, he has added that this is being done to break the March 27th agreement in Brussels and the February 18th one in Ohrid.
“You saw Gabriel Escobar yesterday said very alarmingly that this situation jeopardises regional security was a strong statement that in essence shows why KFOR intervened on the critical day”, Murati said.
“In essence, all that is happening including the kidnapping of our police officers and all developments in the north are actually part of a political game between Kosovo and Serbia, or between Prime Minister Kurti and President Vuciq ʹ in one way or another to fail the” agreement, he added.
According to him, both sides are dissatisfied with the European Union's plan for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
“We have had a conclusion that we have often said publicly that this agreement, which was then crowned with its pluss and minuss in the Brussels Agreement and in the Ohrid Implementation Plan, actually leaves the two sides dissatisfied”, Mati estimates.
Kosovo leaves the Serbian side disappointed because with all the shortcomings the deal may have, Kosovo gives a boost to the international plan and to the foreign sovereignty plan, it draws to some of the serious international organisations, but it also creates a farce that Serbia in one way or another recognises Kosovo”, he adds.
