Montenegro's President Jakov Milatovic estimates that to calm the situation in Kosovo, it is necessary to hold new elections in the north and establish the Association of Serbian Communities.
Milatovic, in an interview for the Austrian newspaper “Der Standard”, has condemned the attack on KFOR soldiers.
“Sulmi against KFOR soldiers is absolutely unacceptable. After all, these soldiers have done a very good job in protecting a portion of the Serbian Orthodox Church's heritage in Kosovo” has highlighted Milatovic.
“to improve the situation, new elections should be held in Kosovo's northern municipalities, and Kosovo must establish association”, he added.
Asked what needs to be done initially, he has responded that the elections should initially be held in northern Kosovo.
Asked whether Serbs would participate, Milatovic said the north should go to the polls.
“Take, because it takes two for tango”, he stressed.
