Chairman PDK in Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi has accused Prime Minister Albin Kurti of the situation taking place in the country's north with local Serbs.
In a direct connection to the Opinion show in Tv Klan, Memli Krasniqi said Prime Minister Kurti's actions are not surprising to him.
It's not a surprise because what Mr. Kurti at every step of his political trajectory has been an isolated act without consulting. I'm not surprised he doesn't consult with Mr. Rama or Mr. Grubi because he is not a consultant either with Kosovo's main partners. Mr. Kurti has no legitimacy to destroy Kosovo's reports with international partners. So it can't be hidden behind numbers because in everyday life there is a drastic failure, in economics, education. Recent actions have exceeded any limit unless they are new”.
In Zubin Potok and Zvecan have won two mayors from PDK ranks, for whom Krasniqi said he is exercising his duty in other environments.
“PDK leaders in Zubin Potok and Zvecan, given the escalation of the situation, have continued working in other municipal offices but not at the city offices”.
As for the paper to remake other elections in northern Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi said laws and the Constitution should be respected, while stressing that Prime Minister Albin Kurti cannot speak of any solution on behalf of two PDK leaders.
“There is a way to respect laws to have new elections. The announcement of elections has been the result of Albin Kurti's mistakes, the postponement has been unconstitutional. Albin Kurti cannot speak on behalf of two mayors coming from PDK ranks”.
Memli Krasniqi also stressed that for the situation taking place in the north of the country, opposition parties have had no consultation with Kosovo's top leaders.
There has been no consultation on the part of the heads of state. I've been in direct communication with international partners, especially with US representatives”
