MD's decision to sack senior official in Dehari case weakens

Independent Supervisor Council for Civil Service (KPMSHCK) has approved former Justice Ministry Chief Inspector Ylber Topalli's complaint against Minister Albulen Haxhiu's decision to fire him.

KKPSHCK has deemed Topall's dismissal illegal in a decision issued 29 May.

The MD's decision has been named groundless and arbitrary.

News of abolishing the Justice Ministry's decision in the Topalli case has today revealed to lawyer Faton Fetah, representative of the former MD inspector.

I have the satisfaction of having Mr. Ylber Topalli and Competitive Officers former Director of the Pre-prisonment Centre Taskman in Prizren Mr. Destan Zogaj, I announced that I accepted two decisions by the Independent Council for the Kosovo Civil Service, through which the lawlessness of their disciplinary responsibility is finally confirmed, which resulted in the arbitrary and illegal dismissal of the Justice Ministry”, Fetah has said.

“These two legal battles, which lasted about ten months, would not only consider winning the parties I represented, but also winning the truth in the face of fraud, which tried to protect citizens on the part of the Justice Ministry”, the lawyer said.

Ylber Topalli was dismissed from office on the basis of the findings of a Justice Ministry Inspectorate report.

The disciplinary procedure against Topall has been initiated on claims of serious procedural violations that are related to the Astrit Dehar event, which had passed away at the Prizren Pre- Hamil Centre on November 5, 2016.
