In his account in “Facebook”, Maliqi has written that Serbs in the north do not want Association.
According to him, they want to divide that part.
I was in the north with foreign journalists and the biggest irony of this situation is that there are not only militants of our power satisfied with developments. I can tell you with confidence that the perception of Serbs there is that, in addition to frustration with police presence and arrests, circumstances are going in favour of theirs with any escalation that empowers KFOR's role. In the north, no one sincerely interested in association, which would imply integration into Kosovo but only for division, and the idea that association is heading towards failure is being experienced as a measure of relief. “The Serbs released from gangs”, who are being spoken in Serbian through social media, are a product of the imagination of power as used to be “the Albanical”, he wrote.
The KSF's march to the south, according to him, the final result has the KFOR Republic.
There may be a “like this in the south but not in the north. I don't know where this approach is, but it's like we're a ladder close to losing a life. The KSF's transition to the south in today's circumstances, like the positioning of the Serbian Army around the border, is the final result apart from the KFOR Republic”, he wrote.
