Limaj: I am for an opposition union to stop the damage to the government Kurti

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has reacted after a possible transition to the Democratic Party of Kosovo has been mentioned, following developments and events occurring at the time of the Kurti Government.

Asked whether there is any initiative to join the former party in which he was once part of, Limaj said he is willing to join them and others to oppose Prime Minister Kurti.

Former Minister Limaj, who years ago had key positions inside PDK, said political forces should join, including other parliamentary parties, except PDK.

I'm willing to do it with all of them, with PDK, and beyond. PDK. With all those men and women concerned with the situation created in the country. We owe it, and we owe it. More than ever, we have great cooperation, and more so is the prime minister's opinion. He also had a condition for political parties to create an opposition with “a clear concept” and for “to stop the damage” of Kurti Government.

If there's an alternative, why change it, so on behalf of that, the vital and historical responsibility is for a union. I'm willing to join the political forces, individuals, even the PDK, beyond the PDK. He created me an opposition, but with a clear concept. To stop the damage, yes and what we're offering. In this direction I am open”, he added.
