The European Union's Emisari for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has provided details regarding meetings in Brussels with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
Through a Facebook post telling about his activities during the week we are leaving behind, he has shown that on behalf of the European Union he has introduced the three elements on which to focus to each other.
The European Emissary has said that initially the escalation of the situation is needed, then the new elections in the north and the return to the Ohrid Agreement.
On behalf of the EU, our clear expectations were introduced to both sides, focused on 3 elements: 1/ escalation 2/ new elections in the north 3/back to implementing the Ohrid” Agreement, he wrote.
Furthermore, Lajcak has added that in the coming days they will remain in close contact with both sides, adding that they will closely follow developments on the ground.
