Enlargement, elections in the north, dialogue for normalisation, Lajcak talks once again about meeting with Kurti
The European Union's special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has also officially announced his meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti last night.
He has indicated that besides Kurti, he also had a meeting with Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bissim.
“We are deeply concerned about the situation in the north and call for immediate access to the ground, early elections with the participation of Kosovo Serbs, and return to dialogue for normalisation”, Lajcak wrote. This visit by Escobar and Lajcak to Kosovo comes after tensions in the north that were caused following the entry of new mayors through municipal facilities in Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Leposaviq.
