After meeting with Kosovo's prime minister at the government's object, the EU's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak has said that along with the US emissar for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, there has been a difficult discussion with Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Lajcak has declared Kurti has presented a three-point proposal as a way out of the tense situation in the north.
The first “is extension, the second quick elections in the north, and the third return to the dialogue for normalisation”, Lajcak has said.

Lajcak has said that he and Escobar will be on this mission for the next two days. He has indicated that there is also a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani and then with Serbian leaders.
As far as warning from the 27 EU member states of Kosovo sanctioning, Lajcak has said they are awaiting the report from this mission in the Balkans.
