Kosovo police on Friday have confirmed that nine journalists have been attacked in Leposaviq, some of them being injured and bodily, and some received various equipment.
According to Kusari, the main responsibility lies with the state, according to Interior Minister Jjelal Svecla.
Kusari has also criticised Vetevendosje Movement's approach to the media since it came to power.
The government continues to have negative approaches. Errativ that builds it is largely negative for journalists. It's a growing concern. That attitude is needed after the prime minister [like today], whenever journalists are massacred on social networks”, Kusari said.
The data shows the largest number of attacks in Kosovo's new history. 15-20 attacks all year are on journalists, attacks of mild nature. 30 is an extremely record number. Ukraine is the most dangerous country to make journalism, then Kosovo due to north”, it has added.
Kusari has declared that the state should help journalists with protection equipment as well as more co-ordination between institutions and media chiefs.
