Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti speaking of developments in the north of the country where the hearing is being held on this issue has said protests in the north are orchestrated by Belgrade and that Serbs in Kosovo are not at large.

The “cannot close its eyes when criminal groups of the pre-milarian type threaten the constitutional and legal order of the Republic. We are aware that not all are part of such groups, but unfortunately many Serbian citizens because of pressure from official Belgrade are obliged to serve as a human shield for attacks by such criminal groups. And there are three categories: the first criminals of civil protection these are the extremist, chauvinist, nationalist, who admires Milosevic and Putin and participates in violent protests. Second: From the public administration, which if they don't show up for protests, they lose their salary because they don't know if they do. Third: It is the Radojichiqa and Veselenovika companies who give workers a break on condition they go to violent protest. They condition their workplace with violent protests, and when they go to violent protests they write it to”, Kurti said.

The prime minister sought help from deputies “to protect the Serb community from Belgrade”

Kosovo today is not demortic in the north because Belgrade does not allow that. The Serbian community needs political pluralism. They need a lot of parties. So please help them release”, Kurti/Periksopi/
