While participating in the Prespa Forum, Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a meeting with Livia Leu, the Federation of Switzerland's State Secretary of State.
As the Prime Minister's Office reports, they discussed the report between the two states and the current situation.
“In terms of the current situation in the country, the prime minister restored the demand for the immediate release of three kidnapped police officers, as this move is an act of Serbia's aggression towards the Republic of Kosovo as he reiterated the need for deespass and normalisation of the situation. In this direction, Prime Minister Kurti underlined his proposal for the deespass of the situation in the four municipalities in the north of the Republic of Kosovo, presented on Monday, and the need for full, quick and unconditional implementation of its Basic Agreement and Annex”, the report said.
Thanks to Switzerland's Agency for Development and Co-operation, Kurti added that municipalities still need development and at the same time demanded that there be more continued support.
He also thanked for Switzerland's contribution to KFOR through Swiss.
The prime minister expressed his thanks for Switzerland's continued support of Kosovo, stressing excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
The important role of the Albanian exile in Switzerland, such as the bridge between the two states, was also praised and the possibility it presents for the country's economic development.
