The prime minister's office, Albin Kurti, has provided details for his meeting with US representative for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar and the EU's minister for Kosovo dialogue Serbia, Mirolav Lajcak.
As the prime minister's office reports at this meeting exchanged thoughts on the situation and recent developments, ideas about the de-exceting of the situation in the north, and the urgency of implementing the Basic and Anaxic implementation Agreement.
The prime minister said the road ahead is the immediate ban on attacks by violent extremists and criminal groups on local and international security bodies, as well as journalists. He invited Brussels and Washington to call for a ban on violence and prosecution and punishment of its perpetrators”, Kurti was quoted.
Next, Kurti has said that only rule of law gives way to early, free elections.
“Prime Minister Kurti expressed the unwilling readiness and firm trust for intensive and common commitment to de-excendment of the situation and normalisation of relations”, the communique said.
