Kurt tells why the VV heads didn't go to the Hovenier meeting

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that the two mayors in the north -- coming from the ranks of his party -- have not gone to the meeting with US Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier days ago, “because the meeting was organised at a time of working time”. The fact that the other two heads, from the PDK ranks, [...]
For the fact that the other two mayors, from the PDK ranks, went and disobeyed the positions of the government, Kurti has said no parties were represented there.
“does not make us a more important party than the state for any party member or citizen of the Republic. The mayor's office is in the Communist building. They're getting paid, they're in business, I know the exit has been low, legitimacy isn't what it takes, but until the new elections are held we have four heads. Two are LVV's, two of the PDK, but these do not represent their parties there. These are mayors who have to work for all citizens indiscriminately. The instruction I've given is to go not only to work in the building, but their government, local cabinets, to be multiethnic, multi-cultural, multi-religious and multi-party. So let the parties cooperate with each other. None of them represent neither Vetevendosje nor the Democratic Party, but also serve Serbs. And I would say, in particular Serbs, because there are still many in those municipalities”, Kurti said at KTV.
Asked why the two VV heads were assigned, Kurti said that the “s were invited to a meeting that was at a time of work”.
Kurt's been arguing no involvement with the tense situation.
“They've gone to their work schedule and that doesn't mean they won't be able to see American Ambassador Havener again, with whom we have extremely good co-operation, and the European Szczunyog. However, he has been on the clock, and at that point he is appreciated that it is important to be there. I hope these ambassadors will soon visit even there in those offices. So the election process has been recognised, the result has been recognised, we cannot create parallel structures of Kosovo in relation to the parallel structures of Serbia. So in those facilities, it would take ambassadors to visit, as other municipalities do. But, of course, if our heads are invited by ambassadors, these too must go to them. But, it has been a special day, where from Leposaviqi to go to Pristina with all those crowds around, I believe it has made the right decision to stay in the office that day, Chairman Lulzim Hetemi. And that way, when KFOR was attacked, NATO, when journalists were attacked, when Kosovo Police were attacked, I believe it had to be there, not in Pristina”, he declared.
