And in Brussels, said there will be a meeting of high-level dialogue, meaning under the mediation of European Union for Foreign Policy and Security representative Josep Borrell, there will be a meeting between Prime Minister Kurti and Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq.
Kurti has indicated that his request will be to release three Kosovo police officers kidnapped by Serbian forces on June 14th within Kosovo's territory.
“I determine my route to Brussels from Rome tomorrow, confirming my participation in the high-level dialogue meeting called by HR/VP Borrell. It will insist on the unconditional release of three police officers held hostage by Serbia, the despass and normalisation of relations”, Kurti wrote on Twitter.
Kurt's visit to the Vatican, where he will meet with Pope Francis, has confirmed the prime minister's office.
These visits by Kurt to the Vatican and Brussels come at a time where there is added tension in northern Kosovo.
There has even been violence by violent Serb protesters over members of KFOR, Kosovo Police and media officers.
Set my path to go to Brussels from Rome tomorow, confirming my participation in the high-level dialogue meetting by HR/VP Borrell. Will insist on the unconditional relationship of the 3 policemen taught hostage by Serbia, de-iscalation & normalization of relations.
