Kurt answers Borrell: Dangerous dezination, engage in crime investigations and arrests

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has responded to EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell's statements after he said he feels alarmed about the arrests of Serbs in the north and the military march in South Mitrovica. According to Kurti, this is the dangerous and unacceptable “dezination that turns [...]
According to Kurti, this is “Dangerous and Unacceptable Dezinformation” that fuels tensions and does not serve the calming of the situation in the north.
He says the KSF exercise is a routine activity, planned annually, and KFOR is well aware of that.
Kurti further says that based on evidence, Serb persons arrested have been placed in handcuffs as responsible for the attack on KFOR soldiers in Zvecan 29 May.
“Today's training of the 3rd KSF Regiment in South Mitrovica is a routine activity planned every year for which KFOR was fully informed. It consisted of 215 soldiers who went from garrison “Minator” to Frasher and returned. Dezinformation is dangerous and unacceptable. Given numerous evidence and in line with the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Rights of Regular Legal Process, police arrested a person in northern Mitrovica for attacking @ soldiers NATO KFOR in Zvecan 29 May. As prime minister of a democratic state, I have no involvement in investigations and arrests. The spread of false panic and claims only fuels tensions and helps those seeking to escalate them. A call for all: please confirm your sources and expect official information from Kosovo institutions before you decide to engage publicly in news broadcast or predict events”, Kurti writes on Twitter.
