After Krasniqi, Abdixhiku also refuses to go to meeting Vjosa Osman

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has responded negatively to Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani's invitation for the meeting, after such a thing had been asked by AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj.

Abdixhiku has said the LDK has conveyed with concern political developments in the country and specifically what has called Prime Minister Albin Kurti's irresponsible approach in relation to the US, the EU and NATO.

In the letter the head of the LDK has returned to the president, it is said that Prime Minister Kurti's conflicting approach and uncoordinated actions have jeopardised Kosovo's sovereignty.

Kosovo's Democratic League has conveyed with much concern recent political developments in the country; in particular, the irresponsible approach of Kosovo's prime minister in relation to our allies, the US, the EU and NATO. His conflicting approach, uncoordinated actions and without diplomatic and strategic responsibility have jeopardised the sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo. In our views, the interests of our country, including those of preserving and extending full sovereignty throughout the territory of Kosovo, are likely only if we have our allies on our side, that our people helped on the road to freedom, independence and democracy”, the letter provided by the newspaper Express says.

Abdixhiku has said the LDK can neither accept nor tolerate a Kosovo clash with allies, and adds that it can thus be a part of the disk on the issue

Kosovo's Democratic Order can neither accept nor tolerate such a clash in the Republic of Kosovo with our allies. Furthermore, the LDK can not be part of any discussion on the issue. Because this issue, for the LDK and the people of Kosovo themselves, is closed before it starts. The alliance with the US, Euro-Atlantic orientation, the pillars which are now being endangered by propagandists of power, are indisputable. That's why we can't choose the middle. Between the break from Kosovo's constitutional orientation of Euro-Atlantic integration, as equal among European and equivalent peoples in NATO's military alliance or our national isolation, we cannot ask among”, Obadiah wrote in his letter to Preisdent Osmani.

Abidzik has said that the LDK seeks and awaits clear and critical position on the positions of Prime Minister Kurti, and says that in this, the position of I president is vital and says such a position of president has yet to be seen.

“What the Democratic League of Kosovo wants and awaits at this time is the clear and critical position of the prime minister's population, which the meeting with allies is turning into the cause of domestic political behaviour, with long-term consequences to the country's sovereignty and our international position. In this confrontation, the president's position is vital; conforming our glorious history, conforming to inflexible constitutional vows, conforming its beliefs to the people of Kosovo. Unfortunately, we have not yet seen this position on your part; and in current circumstances Kosovo needs not a middle voice, but a clear voice, which leads only one direction; that Euro-Atlantic, in close co-ordination with our allies, in successful confrontation with Serbia's aggressive intentions. As chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, I will be ready to meet you, in another case, if, in our single purpose, we have clear and public articulation of unreserved support to our institutions' Euro-Atlantic aspirations, and the rejection of the Kosovo government's confrontational and insulting policies. ”

The invitation was also rejected by the head of PDK, Memli Krasniqi.
